Who we are
UitvaartverzekeringExpert.nl is operated by Lamperjee Digital B.V., a Dutch private limited company (Chamber of Commerce / KVK: 86771930, VAT: NL864079618B01), Haringbuisdijk 495, 1086 VA Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: info@uitvaartverzekeringexpert.nl.
What we do
We operate a purely informational and independent comparison website about Dutch funeral insurance (uitvaartverzekering). We publish indicative premiums and policy conditions of licensed Dutch insurers (DELA, Monuta, a.s.r., Twenthe, De Laatste Eer), based on publicly available product information.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or broker insurance.
- No financial product can be purchased on our website.
- We do not provide personal financial advice.
- We do not collect premiums and do not handle applications.
- We do not pass customer data to insurers.
Visitors who wish to take out a policy are redirected to the insurer's own website, where the entire transaction takes place.
Why no licence is required
Under the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft), an AFM licence is required for advising on or mediating in financial products (Art. 2:75 / 2:80 Wft). Purely comparing and informing — without advising, without mediating, and without any involvement in concluding contracts — does not constitute a licensable activity. Our activities are therefore exempt from AFM licensing requirements. The insurers we feature are all licensed and supervised by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
How we earn money
When a visitor clicks through to an insurer's website, we may receive an advertising fee from that insurer. This fee never affects the premium the visitor pays, nor the order in which insurers are displayed. This is disclosed on every page of our website.

Our comparison methodology is published at methodologie.html (Dutch). Commercial relationships never influence content, ranking or judgement.
